As a child of the digital age, I grew up tethered to technology. From the moment I received my first smartphone at the age of ten, I was hooked. I spent hours upon hours immersed in the virtual world of anime, manga, cinema, comics, and technology.
Anime and manga became my escape from reality, transporting me to fantastical worlds where anything was possible. I would spend hours binge-watching my favorite series, eagerly awaiting the release of the next episode. The intricate storylines and vibrant characters captivated me, providing a sense of comfort and familiarity in a constantly changing world.
Cinema and comics also played a significant role in my tech-dependent upbringing. I would spend weekends at the movie theater, eagerly anticipating the latest blockbuster release. Marvel and DC comics lined my bookshelves, offering endless hours of entertainment and inspiration.
But perhaps the most influential aspect of my tech tethered upbringing was technology itself. From social media to video games, I was constantly connected to the digital world. I would spend hours scrolling through my various feeds, seeking validation and connection in a sea of pixels and algorithms.
As I reflect on my childhood, I realize the impact that technology has had on my life. While it has provided me with endless entertainment and opportunities for creativity, it has also created a dependency that is difficult to break. As I navigate adulthood, I strive to find a balance between the virtual world and the real world, seeking fulfillment and connection beyond the confines of my screen.
